Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 17, 2026

At GoPickaro (gopickaro.com), the privacy of our visitors is of extreme importance to us. This privacy policy document outlines the types of personal information is received and collected and how it is used.

1. Data Collection and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze the traffic on our website. Google Analytics uses "cookies" to collect information regarding user behavior, such as:

IP Address (anonymized).
Browser type and operating system.
Pages visited and time spent on those pages.

2. Google AdSense Advertisements

Our website displays advertisements through the Google AdSense service. For these advertisements, the following apply:

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to GoPickaro or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

3. Log Files

Like many other Web sites, GoPickaro makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, and referring/exit pages.

4. Cookies and Web Beacons

Draws saved on your device: the Spin Wheel keeps a copy of your current draw (names, prizes and winners so far) in your browser's local storage, so you can continue after a crash, a closed tab or a power cut. It never leaves your device and is never sent to GoPickaro. It is deleted when you start a new draw or choose "Start fresh", and ignored after 30 days.

GoPickaro does use cookies to store information about visitors' preferences, to record user-specific information on which pages the site visitor accesses or visits, and to personalize or customize our web page content based upon visitors' browser type or other information.

5. Translaterio 7 Desktop Application

Translaterio 7 is a free Windows desktop application offered by GoPickaro that provides instant text translation using a global keyboard hotkey. The following apply specifically to Translaterio 7:

Text translation: When you use Translaterio 7, the text you select is sent directly to the translation API you choose (Google Translate, DeepL, or MyMemory). This communication happens directly between your device and the third-party service — it does not pass through GoPickaro servers.
No data storage: GoPickaro does not collect, store, or process any text, translation history, or personal information from Translaterio 7 users. No data is ever sent to GoPickaro servers.
DeepL API key: If you choose to use DeepL, your API key is stored locally on your device only. It is never transmitted to GoPickaro.
Clipboard access: Translaterio 7 temporarily reads your clipboard to capture selected text when you press the hotkey. This data is processed locally and is not stored or transmitted to GoPickaro.
Third-party services: Your use of translation engines (Google Translate, DeepL, MyMemory) is subject to their respective privacy policies.
