About GoPickaro
GoPickaro started with a feature that did not exist: a giveaway wheel that picks a winner and a prize in the same spin.
Where the idea came from
Watching online giveaways, Nektarios Livitsanos kept seeing the same routine. The host spins a wheel to find a winner, then spins again, or reads from a list, to decide what that person gets. The wheel tools of the time could pick a name, but none could pair the name with a prize in one visible moment.
So he built one. The GoPickaro Spin Wheel has two rings. The outer ring holds the participants and the inner ring holds the prizes. The rings turn in opposite directions and stop independently, so one spin shows who won and what they won, live, in front of the audience.
What grew from it
Once the double wheel worked, a few more tools followed, each for a situation where the wheel is not the best fit:
More tools will be added over time. If there is one you wish existed, tell us.
Who is behind it
GoPickaro is an independent project created and maintained by Nektarios Livitsanos, a photographer and videographer based in Agrinio, Greece, who also runs the photo and video studio ZOOM PHOTOGRAPHY. It is not part of a large company. Every tool is designed, tested and updated by the same small team, which also means that messages sent to info@gopickaro.com are read by the people who build the tools.
How GoPickaro works
- Free to use. The tools need no account and no payment.
- Your lists stay in your browser. The names and prizes you enter are processed on your own device. GoPickaro does not upload your participant lists to a server.
- Fair by design. Results come from your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, and no entry is ever weighted. Read exactly how each tool picks a result.
- Supported by ads. Pages may show advertising, which keeps the tools free. See our Privacy Policy for details.
