Pick dice below or type any notation like 3d20, 4d6 or 2d6+3, then roll
Tabletop games write dice rolls as NdS+M: N is how many dice, S is how many sides each die has, and M is an optional number added to the total. So 3d20 means three twenty-sided dice, and 2d6+3 means two six-sided dice plus 3. You can mix dice too: 1d20+1d4+2.
Type the notation in the box above, or open a ready-made roll:
| What you are rolling | Dice | Roll it |
|---|---|---|
| Attack roll or ability check | 1d20 + modifier | 1d20+5 |
| Advantage or disadvantage | 2d20, keep the higher or lower | 2d20 |
| Ability score (standard method) | 4d6, drop the lowest die | 4d6 |
| Fireball (3rd level) | 8d6 | 8d6 |
| Magic Missile (1st level, three darts) | 3d4+3 | 3d4+3 |
| Potion of Healing | 2d4+2 | 2d4+2 |
| Greatsword damage | 2d6 + Strength modifier | 2d6+3 |
| Percentile roll | 1d100 | 1d100 |
Every die is shown separately, so for 4d6 drop-lowest or advantage you can see each value and keep the right one.
Type 3d20 in the Dice notation box and press Set & Roll, or open gopickaro.com/dice/?roll=3d20.
Yes. Each value is generated with your browser's cryptographically secure random generator the moment you press Roll, and the animation only shows the result already chosen. See how GoPickaro picks results.
